The Food Safety Summit 2010 is coming up April 12-14, 2010 in Washington, D.C. It is the largest and most established food safety and defense exposition in North America on food safety, quality assurance and food security. On their home page are the latest food safety stories that remind us to be ever vigilant in our quality intentions and aspirations. We at EMNS, the supply chain quality management company, focus on food safety with a unique SaaS solution for the food chain. We will be there in booth 800/802 and hope to meet with many passionate food safety and quality professionals about their quality challenges and food safety risk avoidance plans.
- At the 2009 Quality Expo show, EMNS showed many new friends a secure web-based supplier quality portal for managing the interchange of supplier certifications and audit management, up-to-date specification distribution, electronic certificates-of- analysis with shipments, ASNs, material characteristics time- trending, non-conformance management, production analysis, and scorecarding for procurement.
- EMNS supported the WCBF's 5th Annual Lean & Six Sigma Summit June 24-25, 2009 in Oak Brook, IL. We focused on GSQA's supplier and material performance quality management, 4th generation SPC and the solution to quality management in dispersed and multi-tiered supply chains. The overall conference gave lean, Six Sigma and quality professionals the unique opportunity to confront the fundamental challenges for the integration, sustainability and expansion of Lean and Six Sigma as a combined approach of performance excellence, business growth and innovation. Over 200 of the globe's most prominent Lean Six Sigma practitioners, representing a variety of industries shared their experience, knowledge and wisdom.
