With GSQA's e-COA (Electronic Certificates of Analysis) your company will be able to administer your transactions easier because e-COA uses a Single Source Method to process your suppliers’ materials faster, lowering your company’s overhead. Your company will see more accurate results since GSQA's e-COA uses an electronic path to submit ASN/COA’s.
By using the GSQA e-COA’s you will be removing the human error side of the equation and keep consistent data. Your company will have many different paths to submit COA’s. You choose the path that meets your needs: EDI, EDI Internet, XML, web browser and fax. GSQA does all this by using e-COA on a subscription basis over the Internet without having to permanently install hardware and software.
How it Works
Depending on the supplier, the e-COA Service provides a means to electronically transmit their COA results into GSQA.
- EDI — Suppliers using EDI can send their COA data directly into GSQA using their current EDI protocols and software packages.
- EDI Internet — For suppliers that wish to eliminate EDI VAN charges, the e-COA Service receives COA messages over the Internet in a variety of protocols.
- XML — The e-COA Service gathers COA messages transmitted using XML messaging, allowing technologically advanced suppliers connectivity options with both current and future protocols.
- Web Browser — The e-COA Service's web browser interface offers an intuitive and user friendly replacement for spreadsheets, word processor documents and other paper based methods of transmitting critical COA information.
- Fax — EMNS offers a transcription service for suppliers in transition to an electronic means of transmitting COA information.
